Crassula rupestris 'Hottentot' este o specie cu creştere moderată, de până la 20 cm înălţime. Frunzele sunt verzi cu tente de roşu - maroniu spre margini ce formează structuri lungi, asemănătoare unor tentacule.Florile sunt mici, de culoare albă, în formă de stea şi apar în lunile de vară.
