Kiryuzuna is a hard, clayey volcanic rock known for its excellent long-term drainage. It retains water and nutrients while gradually releasing them. Due to its high hardness compared to Akadama and Kanuma, it is ideal for plants that do not tolerate transplanting. Kiryuzuna promotes air circulation at the root level, reducing the need for fertilizers and minimizing the risk of bacterial and fungal issues.
